Independent businesses have always been the backbone of the economy and more importantly some of our favourite places to go for a drink or something to eat. With Find My Rep we decided to build a platform on which local and independent businesses could find the support they need. This idea has been in the works for a while:

With the recent COVID-19 crisis we’re well aware of the difficulties small businesses will have to face during this difficult time. This made us shoot into action so that our website is ready to help jump start your recovery.
On our website you will be able to create a free account to help you find company contacts in your local area. The majority of large businesses will have representatives (known as reps or BDMs) covering the majority of postcodes in the UK. Through using the search form on our homepage you will be able to select the search category that you require (Support, Wholesaler, etc.) and filter by your location (available soon). You can also use the explore tab in our main menu to access the different listing types on our platform.
The way we have designed the website allows you to filter specifically by selecting the type of business you own and the support you require – Point of Sale, Equipment, Investment and Promotions. By completing the location field you will be provided with a list of businesses you can receive support from and their representatives contact details.
You can also add your own free listing to have representatives contact you (max. 1 free request listing per business every 30 days). We created a request section where users can add their own listing requests. We recommend that you provide as much information about your business as possible in your request for representatives to contact you.
Many suppliers and wholesalers are able to offer strong support packages including:

1. How much does it cost to join?
Our platform is dedicated to providing a free service to all independent businesses. You can create a free account for your business today and all we ask is for your business contact details and information. You can register today in less than five minutes and have your account up and running.

2. How many businesses can I work with?
Through our website you will be able to contact an unlimited amount of potential partners. However, this does not guarantee that all businesses will be able to collaborate with you.
Business representatives will go through listings on a daily basis to find new opportunities in their area. We recommend that you provide as much information as possible about your business in your request listings to find the best partnerships.
3. How do I contact businesses for support?
When you visit a business profile in the ‘Support’ or ‘Wholesaler’ sections of the website that you’re interested in speaking to, you will able to send a direct message. Representatives will receive messages directly to their inbox and will be able to follow-up on your enquiry with you.
Users will also be able to contact representatives through other tools such as phone and email, if provided by the profile owner.
4. How many listings can I create?
Independent businesses will be able to create one free ‘request’ listing every thirty days. You are free to contact as many representatives as you wish during this thirty day period. Once the thirty day period is over you can create another new listing. Please bear in mind that free listings can only be added by selecting the ‘request‘ listing type.
All you have to do to access the features of our website is create a completely free user account. In your account you will be able to keep track of your listings, search for support in your local area and message representatives you might be interested in working together with.
